Dineyzation is the process by which the principles of Disney theme park are coming to dominate more and more of American society as well as the rest of the world. The concept of disneyzation that was used by Disney theme park has been so successful that other companies are following in their footsteps.
Hard rock café
It is a chain of theme restaurant establish by an American Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett. The theme of the company is rock and roll. Every hard rock café that we entered are similar to one because of its theme. Tourists who are unsure of the local cuisine might be seen visiting the stores that they are familiar with because they know the standard that the company had.
The company is successful in its theme that others might start to follow to, which is the result of disneyzation. The design and atmosphere that was created by hard rock café could be the factors that encourage the patrons to dine in. The restaurant is so successful that they even develop a hotel as well. The company also sells recognizable merchandise that the visitors can purchase.
Robert Mandovi wines
Merchandization is the result of this growing conflict between the world market and local cultures. Wine is an essential part of the French identity. It is something that France very proud of; it is made only form the finest grapes. However, an American company called Robert Mondavi wines believe in standardizing all the production of wines and merchandise all its product into one category. The company is the supporter of the globalization if wine. So, they impose homogeneous standards to the production of wine which may harm of local diversity.
By imposing such standards, these companies aim to create their own business ecosystem that would allow them to better exert their control.
In this case the process of spreading into an increasingly globalized wine industry, where technology has replaced the craftsman’s know-how with wine of the past. The job is now replaced by the high technology machines that are efficient, predictable and can be control which result in a standardization.

NO, THE FRENCH DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH
“In another language, you not only say things differently, you say different things.” – Joseph Barry, The people of Paris.
The mention of French would make one think of romantic word because modern French belongs to the group of so-called “Romance” languages along with Italian, Spanish, Portugese and Romanian. Descended from Latin, these languages may be said to represent living shadows of the ancient Roman empire, reflecting the different histories of regions formerly united under Roman rule. This precise and beautiful tongue has been a major factor uniting the diverse peoples of France. Both the French education system and the conservative French academy help to standardize the usage and pronunciation of French words throughout the country. Thus, people from all parts of the France and of every social class can easily understand one another. Unofficially, younger and more casual French people like the flexibility of English words and phrases. In a matter of language, France has exported at least as much as it has imported. It is estimated that 40% to 50% of all English words have French origins.
Tourist will miss a great deal, not speaking French in France. The biggest problem that tourists face is usually the language barrier. Speaking French at any level will be helpful for the tourist to gain respect and support among the French. Fortunately, Paris entertains more first-time, ill-prepared travelers than any other city on earth. So once you are in France, listen to the people around you. Imitate them. Use their inflections and tones. You’ll soon get it.
Be mindful that every things in French are classified according to the “ genders”, whether it is masculine or feminine. For example, a French guy = un francais. Whereas a French lady = une francaise.
